Ukraine is a regular participant in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC), and in 2024, it will make its 19th appearance (all consecutive).

After achieving its first top-five finish since 2018 last year, Ukraine aims to score another strong result. The representative is Artem Kotenko, with the song Hear Me Now.

    • Artem Kotenko, 12 years old, became a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest after watching it for the first time in 2019. Last year, he attempted to represent Ukraine at JESC, and his persistence paid off as he was selected this year. Artem lives in a city on the front lines of the war but continues to nurture his passion for music – in addition to singing, he plays the piano. He also enjoys theatre and dancing.
