Silvester Belt and VB Gang secure spots in the final of Lithuania’s selection for Eurovision 2024

The first semifinal of Eurovizija.LT was aired this Saturday. This is Lithuania’s new selection format for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).

The show was filmed during this week in the studios of the LRT broadcaster. Eight contestants performed, starting with Živilė Gedvilaitė and ending with Clockwork Creep.

The results were determined equally by 50 percent from the public televote and a jury consisting of Ieva Narkutė, Darius Užkuraitis, Ramūnas Zilnys, Vytautas Bikus, and last year’s winner, Monika Liu.

The two most voted participants advanced to the final: Silvester Belt and VB Gang, both with 22 points. Silvester Belt received the highest score from the jury, while VB Gang received the maximum public vote.

The semifinals of Eurovizija.LT will continue until February 10, with the final scheduled for February 17.
