© MV San Marino As unlikely as it was unexpected, this is how the return of San Marino to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) in 2024 can be described.
Despite initially ruling out participation, broadcaster SMRTV finally decided to compete in JESC 2024, marking their return after a nine-year hiatus. Representing the microstate will be the group Idols SM with the song Come Noi, sung entirely in Italian. Notably, the only other fully Italian song sent by San Marino previously secured a top-ten finish, the country’s best result to date.

- Idols SM consists of Asia, Giorgia, Giulia, and Vera Stefania. Asia dreams of becoming a famous singer, yet her energy on stage contrasts with her calm demeanor off it. Giorgia performs regularly in San Marino and has a passion for astronomy, while Giulia enjoys swimming in her free time and has trained in classical, modern, and contemporary dance. Vera Stefania is particularly drawn to South Korean culture, from K-pop to dramas. She also loves horror films, hip-hop, and pop music.
