Pesma za Evroviziju will select Serbia’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025, and has received 222 song submissions.

Two professionals will now select 28 semi-finalists, who will compete in the semi-finals on February 25 and 27. The final is scheduled for March 1.

Olivera Kovačević, editor of Pesma za Evroviziju, highlighted in an interview with RTS the careers launched through the contest and its growing audiences, stating: “We need to build on this, and every year we take a step forward, both visually and in terms of content”.

Meanwhile, Uroš Marković, music editor, shared some expectations: “It’s better when you offer a variety of genres. […]. It’s the same at the Eurovision Song Contest; every year, they try to find a winning formula. One year Måneskin wins, and the next, everyone plays something similar. This year, Nemo won, and next year some will probably try something in that style”.
