Picture credits: © Janne Danielsson/SVT The participating artists are yet to be revealed, but the hosts for Melodifestivalen 2025, Sweden’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), have been confirmed.
Broadcaster SVT announced that Kristina «Keyyo» Petrushina and Edvin Törnblom will host all six shows of next year’s Melodifestivalen.
Keyyo is a Russian-Swedish comedian who first gained recognition on YouTube before branching out into podcasts and television programs such as Keyyo & Co on SVT and Frågar åt en kompis.
Edvin Törnblom has been working at SVT since his internship on Filip och Fredriks Breaking News. Since 2020, he has co-hosted the comedy podcast Ursäkta with Johanna Nordström. In 2022, he published his first book and co-hosted the QX Gaygala alongside Sissela Benn.
Melodifestivalen 2025 will feature five heats, running from February 1 to March 1, followed by the grand final on March 8. The first semi-final will take place in Luleå, followed by Gothenburg, Västerås, Malmö, Jönköping, and the grand final in Stockholm’s Strawberry Arena.
