This year marks a decade since Italy’s debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC). The country will compete for the fourth consecutive year in 2024.

Italy has only missed the contest in 2020 and boasts a victory from its debut year in 2014. However, it failed to reach the top ten in the past two editions, something it aims to improve with Simone Grande and the song Pigiama Party.

    • At just 11 years old, Simone Grande won the second season of The Voice Kids in Italy, earning the chance to represent his country at JESC 2024. Recently, he released a cover of Brividi, the song Mahmood and Blanco performed for Italy at Eurovision 2022. Besides singing, Simone also enjoys dancing and cooking.
