The first Saturday of national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 has arrived. Today there are auditions in the Moldovan contest and semifinals in Lithuania and Norway. Here’s how to follow everything.

Moldova/Etapa Națională – Audições (15:00-18:00, TRM)

The auditions for Etapa Națională 2024 take place in Moldova. Thirty contestants will compete for a place in the next phase of the competition, with the final scheduled for February 17. The auditions are broadcast online on YouTube from 15:00 to 18:00 (CET time). In this phase, the results are decided solely by the in-studio jury.

Norway/Melodi Grand Prix – Semifinal 1 (19:50, NRK)

Norway begins the process of choosing its representative for ESC 2024 this Saturday with the first semifinal of Melodi Grand Prix. It is scheduled for 19:50 and features six contestants, including Margaret Berger, who seeks to return to Eurovision 11 years later. Results are entirely determined by the audience, with three songs qualifying for the final. The online broadcast is on the NRK website.

Lithuania/Eurovizija.LT – Semifinal 1 (20:00, LRT)

In the debut of a new national final, Lithuania kicks off Eurovizija.LT this Saturday. The first semifinal was recorded this week but will only be broadcast now. Eight contestants take the stage, and the voting is divided equally by 50% between the jury and the public. The top three advance to the final. The broadcast is scheduled for 20:00 on LRT 1.
