Picture credits: © EBU Douwe Bob is one of the latest artists to express interest in representing the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2025, which will take place in May in Basel, Switzerland.
After representing the country in 2016, Douwe Bob revealed to Radio538 that he has a song ready to submit to broadcaster AVROTROS. Eight years ago, the artist placed 11th with the song Walk Along.
Submissions are open until November 22, with AVROTROS accepting entries from artists, composers, lyricists, producers, and record labels. A six-member committee will select the Dutch representative, comprising Carolien Borgers, Cornald Maas, Hila Noorzai, Jaap Reesema, Jacqueline Govaert, and Sander Lantinga.
In addition to Douwe Bob, two other former Dutch representatives have expressed interest in returning next year: Anouk and Gerard Joling.
