Image: Screen capture HRT It was expected and confirmed: Baby Lasagna won Dora 2024, and thus will represent Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) with the song Rim tim tagi dim.
The HRT studios in Zagreb served as the stage for the final, featuring 16 contestants. Natalie Balmix was the first to take the stage, while Vinko closed the performance lineup.
Let3 not only performed as contestants but also as guests since they were the winners last year. In that capacity, they sang the song with which they won in 2023, Mama ŠČ, and also Ero s onoga svijeta.
The first results announced were from the jury: 25% from the international jury (Germany, Iceland, Italy, and Ukraine), and 25% from the regional jury (Osijek, Rijeka, Split, and Zagreb). Baby Lasagna received the highest number of points: 74.
Then, the results of the public vote were revealed, accounting for 50 percent. And there, Baby Lasagna’s win was overwhelming: 247 points, against the 27 points of Alen Đuras, who came in second.
In the sum of the votes, Baby Lasagna accumulated 321 points to win with the song Rim tim tagi dim and thus will represent Croatia at the ESC. Vinko came in second with 82 points.
